Please note:
Due to USI Computer Center system changes made over the winter break, all student Blackboard usernames and passwords have been changed. Beginning spring 2002, each student has a new Person ID assigned by the USI Computer Center. This ID will also be used as a student's username for Blackboard.
You can get your username from me or find your updated Blackboard usernames at the following Internet address: http://www.usi.edu/webservices/people_search/
Your Blackboard username will be the part of your USI email address before the @ symbol.
Follow the protocol described below to determine their your initial password.
A student's initial password will be the following: The 8-digit number consisting of the last 4 digits of his/her SSN and his/her 4-digit birthday (month and day). So, if the SSN is 333-22-1111, and the birthday is on February 10, the initial password is 11110210.
Prior passwords have been overwritten; therefore, whatever passwords you used for fall term will not work. Each student will also need to update his/her email address and personal information preferences.
