USI Psi Chi Chapter

To become a member: you are automatically in if you meet the requirements below and have a GPA of 3.6 or greater.  Just fill out the form when we're taking on new members! 

  • Psychology majors or minors
  • Three completed semesters of college study
  • Completion of 9 hours of psychology
  • Psychology GPA of 3.0 or better 
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
  • Those with GPA between 3.0 and 3.6 will be considered on the basis of their psychology GPA, service to the Psychology Department, the University and the community.  Be sure to address these when you turn in your application!

Among the national organization's requirements for membership are:

  1. Completion of 9 semester hours of psychology

Those with a GPA between 3.0 and 3.6 will be considered on the basis of their psychology GPA, service to the psychology department, the university, and the community.  Consideration will also be given to other supporting information.
