Master of Social Work AdmissionAll applicants must apply to the Office of Graduate Studies and to the Master of Social Work Program. These are two distinct graduate divisions and both require separate application procedures. Admission decisions for the Master of Social Work (MSW) Program are based upon:
February 1 is the Deadline for applications to the Advance Standing Tracks. March 1 is the Deadline for applications to the two-year, full-time track. It is the applicant’s responsibility to provide all required materials to the Social Work Department by the application deadline. Applications are reviewed when all materials have been received by the Social Work Department MSW Admissions Committee. The MSW program admits students in the fall semester only.
Indiana Public Law 11-1994 and MSW Admission Individuals who were convicted of such crimes outside of the state of Indiana are required to report their intent to reside more than seven days in the area within Indiana to local law enforcement authorities having jurisdiction in the area of intended residence. All requests concerning admission to the MSW program should be directed to: Vaughn DeCoster, Ph.D. The MSW admissions packet will contain the following materials:
