Academic advising is available to students pursuing degrees in the College of Liberal Arts in the Advising Center.
Advisors help students stay informed of their academic progress and assist them in planning courses appropriately to achieve their academic goals. Students may contact the Advising Center with questions about:
Students who have not yet declared a major should contact University Division Advising for academic advising. For majors outside the College of Liberal Arts, contact the advising centers in the College of Nursing and Health Professions or the Pott College of Science, Engineering, and Education, or the appropriate faculty advisor in the Romain College of Business.
The College of Liberal Arts Advising Center is located on the third floor of the Liberal Arts Center in rooms 3043 and 3050.
Construction on the new office space for the Advising Center will begin in fall 2014 on the second floor of the Liberal Arts Center. The new office is expected to open in spring 2015.
