A "hold
request" may
be placed for circulating materials that are presently out on loan to another
borrower. The item will be held
for the requester
when it is returned. To place a hold:
Locate
the item you wish to place on Hold by doing a search in the Online Catalog.
Item must be checked out
Click on "Place Hold" in
the menu bar below the page header.
You will be prompted to enter your barcode number from you Eagle Access
Card and your last name.
Click "OK" with "Hold" highlighted
as your type of request.
The Voyager Request: Hold form will appear
You must fill in your barcode number at the appropriate place
You may enter a phone number for contact purposes in the Comment area
You may enter the
number of days up to"30" until the item will no longer
be needed
Press the submit request button
You will receive an acknowledgement that the process succeeded or failed.
To cancel a hold click "Patron" to
see your Patron Information which will include your holds,
check the appropriate box and click the "Cancel" button.
