Finding DVDs and Videos in the Library's Catalog
•Select Basic Search from the Catalog menue tab.
•Under Location Limits, change the dropdown box to DVD/VIDEO
•Enter the title of the DVD or video putting the title in quotes. Example: "rebel without a cause". One word titles do not have to be in quotes.
•For best results when doing title searches omit initial articles (A, An, The, Der, El, L', La, etc.)
Example: "sound and the fury" (rather than "the sound and the fury")
•When searching by keyword, use one word or put phrases in quotes.
Example: alcohol? (using the ? mark will simultaneously search alcohol, alcoholism, alcoholics.
Example: "middle ages"
Example: "feature films"
