Trial Article Delivery Service
Rice Library will expand its trial article delivery service to qualifying graduate distance education students starting with the fall 2011 semester. The trial article delivery service will provide electronic delivery of journal articles and book chapters owned by Rice Library to eligible students. Copyright restrictions will apply (refer to the ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS link to learn more).
Delivery of these materials to participants’ personal ILLiad account will be virtually identical to the process for receiving articles/book chapters furnished through interlibrary loan (ILL) from other libraries. This trial service will run through the fall 2011 and spring 2012 semesters, at which time it will be re-evaluated.
To be eligible for the trial article delivery service, students must:
- be a graduate student currently enrolled in a distance education program (not just an online or distance education course).
Eligible programs:
- Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Master of Health Administration (MHA)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Occupational Therapy (OT)
- live more than 50 miles from the USI campus.
