Entering the Study, one will find Web sites that pertain to the art of dress, the education of costume, and reference books at the Online Library pertaining to research and illustrations of historical costume.

Costumes.org - A comprehensive site on costume with emphasis on history which includes a timeline and links to costumes from various periods including: Ancient Rome, Ancient Greece, 13th Century Europe to 20th Century Western Europe, and 1910's to 1990's costume. Designs and additional Web sites on costumes, make-up, and ethnic design are also included.

The History of Costume - Originally published as individual plates in a German magazine. 125 plates were collected and bound into a book form and consist of historical dress from antiquity to the end of the 19th century. Available on the Web from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville, is an online index of the book showing all 125 plates from Turkish Women to Early 6th Century Byzantine Empire to Russian Folk Dress.
