Civil War Letters

Civil War Documents of Captain Louis Puster MSS #178 - Donated by Dr. Darrell Bigham. This collection contains documents collected by Captain Louis Puster of Company K, 21st Regiment of the Missouri Infantry Volunteers. Captain Puster was in charge of the clothing and equipment for his company. Many of the documents are invoices from the United State Army stores and correspondences concerning the location of deceased soldiers and their personal belongings. There is also a strongbox which was probably used for receipts and money. There are also statements included from the actual Business Department of Evansville Commercial College, 1880.

Fashion Designs

Ruth Kishline Fashion MSS #38. Collection contains fashion sketches from 1967-1989, patterns, Vogue pattern books, and framed advertisements for Ruth Kishline’s Country Clothes Shop, and fashion sketches from 1970.

John Quincy Adams letter

John Quincy Adams MSS #405-9. This collection contains the original letter from John Quincy Adams to Isaac S. Lyon Esqr in Parsippany Morris County, NJ, March 1831 and a copy of a photograph of J.Q. Adams.

Mead Johnson (Bristol-Myers)

Mead Johnson MSS #41. The collection consists of a variety of product samples, annual reports, price lists, Dr. Mead Johnson speeches, and correspondences from the 1950s-1990s.
