GENERAL COLLECTION

The 3rd floor houses the General Collection G-N. These are circulating books, fiction and non-fiction, that can be checked out at any self-check stations or at the Checkout counter on the 1st floor.

UNIVERSITY ARCHIVES and SPECIAL COLLECTIONS

UNIVERSITY ARCHIVES

UASC collects materials and records related to the growth of the University of Southern Indiana.

The Archives collection consists of personal papers and business, organizational, and governmental records. Included are diaries and journals, correspondence, literary manuscripts, art work, account books, minutes of business firms and organizations, scrapbooks and newsletters, photographs and memorabilia.

Communal Studies Collection

The Communal Studies Collection reflects the interest of the research conducted by the Center for Communal Studies. The University Archives and Special Collections preserve materials, publications and general information on intentional communities around the world.

Regional Collection

This collection focuses on Indiana and the tri-state area's local history. The Archives has early government papers and collections from ethnic groups like the African-American and Jewish communities from Evansville. The Archives has over 350 oral histories from members of the community with a range of topics and interests. The Archives has many editions of the Evansville High School and Central High School yearbooks from 1909 to 1987.

GROUP STUDY ROOMS

Group study rooms, varying in size to accommodate groups of 2 to 12, are located on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors.
