Who will help me identify and locate relevant materials?

In the Curriculum Materials Collection (CMC)

 

Curriculum materials are cataloged and subject-searchable in Rice Library's catalog. Below is a sample search, but keep in mind that Reference staff will help you search the online catalog.

 

► In the "Basic Search," change the quick limit to "Children's Literature," and search for +japan +folklore

► This will list several children's books about Japanese folklore, all located in the Curriculum Materials collection on the 4th floor. Below is a sample detail of a book record in the catalog.

► You can also search by the name of the children's author or title:

      ► Rohmann, Eric (change the search to "Author.")

      ► My Friend Rabbit (change the search to "Title.")

► When searching by keyword (as instructed above), the (+) sign helps to narrow your search.
