Liberal Arts Living Learning Communities

Are you committed to the arts, humanities, or social sciences?

The Liberal Arts LLC focuses on interdisciplinary knowledge, civic engagement, and global citizenship. You'll develop close relationships with students from any of the 10 academic departments within USI's College of Liberal Arts.

Come live and learn with others who want to prepare themselves for demanding careers and connect their learning to the world beyond the classroom.

In 2017-2018, students in the Liberal Arts LLC take the following classes together:

Fall Semester

  • UNIV 101 First Year Experience
  • PHIL 201 Intro to Ethics
  • PSY 201 Intro to Psychology

Spring Semester

  • UNIV 102 Learning Communities Seminar II
  • POLS 102 Intro to American Politics
  • CMST 107 Intro to Interpersonal Communication

Please note: The LLC classes are currently in review and may change for 2018-2019. Check back in January!

If students come in with college level credit for one of the LLC classes, they do not take the class with their cohort.
