Activities Programming Board has announced the 12 University of Southern Indiana students who have been selected to serve as the 2012 Homecoming candidates. This year’s court members have been nominated by USI employees or registered student organizations. Nominees completed essay questions, narrowing the field to the top six men and top six women, making up the court.
Court members complete private interviews with a judging panel and will receive votes from the student body during week-long elections. Selection is based on 48 completed credit hours, 2.6 grade point average, campus and community involvement and most importantly, their pride in USI.
Meet the court and read about how to vote.
“Eagle Jam,” the theme of Homecoming 2012, will kick off Monday, February 6. The week will include events and campus-wide competitions intended to ignite school spirit. Faculty, staff, students, and alumni are encouraged to participate in the activities, such as the door- and office-decorating contests, craziest fan and spirit contests, alumni party and reunion, and much more. See the 2012 homecoming web page for details about events and contests.
