Prospective students and parents are invited to visit the University of Southern Indiana this fall on one of four Saturdays called Southern Hospitality Days, scheduled on September 29, October 13, October 27, and November 10.
“Students who visit the University of Southern Indiana are more likely to apply, and, if accepted, to enroll,” said Eric Otto, director of Admission. Research shows that a personal visit is the most trusted source of information for prospective students choosing where to attend college.
“The modern campus of USI is a popular destination for students looking for a place to earn a college degree,” Otto said. “Faculty members are experts in their fields, and they work at USI because they love to teach. The spacious University Center East, opened in 2011; student housing options; and the Recreation, Fitness, and Wellness Center are important amenities we offer our students,” he said.
Students who attend Southern Hospitality Days tour campus buildings, including the Business and Engineering Center, the newest academic building. They meet with Admission counselors and faculty and visit with current students. Residence hall tours are offered.
Persons can register online for any of the four hospitality days. There is no cost to register or to attend.
