Harpeth Rising, a quartet formed by musicians at Indiana University, will perform at USI as part of the University Core Curriculum Speaker Series.

With banjo, fiddle, cello, and hand drums, Harpeth Rising is "a little bit bluegrass, a little bit folk, a little bit classical and a whole lot of original," according to their website, www.harpethrising.com.

They will perform at 3 p.m. Friday, October 26, in the fourth floor reading room of the David L. Rice Library. The performance is free and open to the public.
