The International Club at the University of Southern Indiana will host the annual International Food Expo from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, February 20 in Carter Hall, University Center West.

The Food Expo is an opportunity for USI's international students to share the cultural diversity, customs and cuisine of their home country with extended USI community and the public. In addition to tasting dishes from different countries, participants will be able to listen to music from around the globe, view global fashions and watch traditional dances performed by students. This year's event promises to be the best one yet with 24 countries represented including Brazil, Chile, China, Ecuador, England, France, Haiti, India, Iran, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mali, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, USA, Venezuela and Zimbabwe.

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $10 from the Center for International Programs office (UC East 1235) or at the door on the day of the Expo for $12. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Potters Wheel Food Bank in Evansville and attendees are invited to bring a non-perishable food item for donation.
