Outstanding international students recognized at annual reception

The University of Southern Indiana Center for International Programs awarded the Peace Ambassador Award and the Outstanding International Graduate Award at a reception on April 28 in the USI Performance Center.

Sam Alanazi, a sophomore pre-dental hygiene major from Saudi Arabia, was recognized with the Peace Ambassador Award. This award, open to any international student in good standing at USI, was created to recognize an outstanding student who has raised cultural awareness and understanding on campus.

Miho EbiharaMiho Ebihara and Rina Okada, graduate students pursuing master's degrees in education from Japan, were recognized as co-recipients of the Outstanding International Graduate Award. This award, open to international students completing an undergraduate or graduate degree, recognizes students with outstanding leadership skills and academic achievement.
