The University of Southern Indiana’s College of Liberal Arts, World Languages and Cultures Department, and USI Society for Arts and Humanities will host the Tournées Film Festival, a French film festival on campus with screenings at 7 p.m. Fridays through February 23 in Forum I located in the Wright Administration Building on the USI campus. All screenings are free and open to the public

The Tournées Film Festival will allow the University community and the public to discover French and Francophone culture through six critically-acclaimed films, in French with subtitles. A brief introduction will precede each film, and faculty members will lead a discussion following the screening.

Films to be shown as part of the festival include:

  • January 26 - Beauty and the Beast (1946)
  • February 2 - Phantom Boy (2015)
  • February 9 - The Missing Picture (2013)
  • February 16 - Louise by the Shore (2015)
  • February 23 - April and the Extraordinary World (2015)

Tournées Film Festival is made possible with the support of the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the U.S., the Centre National du Cinéma et de l’Image Animée (CNC), the French American Cultural Fund, Florence Gould Foundation and Highbrow Entertainment.
