The Center for Communal Studies is an international clearinghouse and networking facility for information on past and present communal groups and scholarship in the United States and abroad. It is headquarters for the Communal Studies Association (CSA) and the Fellowship for Intentional Community (FIC). The center's archival collection contains material on more than 100 historic communal groups and 300 contemporary ones.
