Photography Services
Photographic and Imaging Services in the Office of News
and Information Services provides the University community with
traditional 35 mm photography, digital photography, and digitally-scanned
images for use in publications, brochures, Web sites, posters, displays,
and Power Point presentations. Skilled photographers are available for
University photography assignments including portraits, group shots,
special events, athletics, theatre, publicity, campus, and classroom
shots. Current, high-quality images are also available from the photo
library.
Because we shoot photography and perform imaging services for the entire University community, you need to schedule your photo shoot in advance so we can help you meet your publication deadline. Photography or imaging jobs that require a 24-48 hour turn-around incur rush charges in order to accommodate your needs. Office hours are 8:30 a.m.- 4 p.m. After-hours services are available by appointment. Please call 465-7005 or e-mail photos@usi.edu for an appointment.

Professional Photography
Planning a new publication? Updating your Web page? Need a new headshot?
Sponsoring a special event on campus? We have a professional studio
set up for formal portrait purposes or we can shoot photos on location
in classrooms and off-campus sites. Call well in advance to schedule
your photo shoots. For a detailed estimate, contact photos@usi.edu
regarding photos or scanned images at the beginning of your planning
process, or submit an Online Photography Requisition.
Digital Imaging
We provide 35 mm color, black and white film, and flatbed, negative
and slide scanning. Files can be sent via e-mail, Zip disc or burned
to a CD. We can scan high-resolution for print use and low-resolution
for Web use. Contact one of the photographers for technical specifications.
