2003 USI student art show largest ever

University of Southern Indiana’s 33rd Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition showcases roughly 170 artworks, about 60 more than in years past. Juror Dick Hay, professor of art at Indiana State University, selected the featured works from more than 400 entries. “We presented more than 50 awards totaling around $18,750 in scholarship, merit, and purchase awards,” added Joan Kempf, acting chair of the Art, Music, and Theatre Department. “The Best of Show Award was $2,500.” The exhibit will remain on display in the University Conference Center through Sunday, April 20. Exhibit hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
