Nethery elected Student Government Association president

Troy Nethery will be the president of the Student Government Association (SGA) for 2003-2004 at the University of Southern Indiana. Nethery, a junior, is an elementary education major. A resident of Noblesville, Indiana, Troy is the son of Terry Nethery and Lorena Nethery. He is a graduate of Hamilton Southeastern High School. Nethery and other members of the SGA board met recently to discuss goals for the association and the campus. Some of the goals include increasing campus communication and promotion, increasing communication between campus organizations, and to set up a safety network to better inform students, faculty and staff of severe weather or campus emergencies. Other members of the SGA board include: Sam Tucker, executive vice president; Nick Lindy, chief justice; Amanda Diehl, attorney general; and Lindsay Wilson, administrative vice president for business and finance. |
