Governor Frank O’Bannon and Lt. Governor Joe Kernan will be at the University of Southern Indiana at 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 26 in Carter Hall of the University Center participating in a public forum on Energize Indiana, the state’s new economic-development plan that was signed into law by O’Bannon on May 8.

The Department of Commerce’s region 11 office, located in the Administrative Services annex on the USI campus, is hosting the event.

Forums are being held in each of the 12 Indiana Department of Commerce districts. The Evansville forum will focus on how community leaders, business owners, and entrepreneurs can grow businesses, research ideas, and create jobs in the community.
