Bryant a new manager in USI Foundation
|
The former senior administrative associate in USI Foundation is now the office’s manager of Foundation Scholarships. Ginny Bryant, Norris City, Ill., is the first to fill the new position. Her responsibilities include managing all aspects of Foundation’s private scholarship program consisting of 360 separate scholarship funds and some 440 annual awards with an additional 225 new scholarships anticipated in the next year. In her new role, Bryant also oversees management of the annual Honors Week scholarship selection process, coordinates all aspects of the employee payroll deduction program, and supervises day-to-day support staff operations. “Ginny has been the senior administrative associate in the Foundation Office for the past 10 years, and in that role she's been highly capable of handling much of what she is taking on as the new manager of Foundation Scholarships,” said Susie Nicholson, Foundation president and director of University Development. “Ginny's sunny disposition, attention to detail, and ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks made her a natural for this new position.” Bryant joined the University in 1993. She holds a B.S. in business management from Oakland City University. |
