Amanda Bowling, Evansville, has accepted the position of area coordinator in Residence Life at University of Southern Indiana. A former resident of DeKalb, Ill., she earned a B.A. in sociology in 2003 at Northern Illinois University, where she was a member of Phi Eta Sigma, Mortar Board, Golden Key, and the National Residence Hall Honorary.

Jennifer Briggs has accepted the position of assistant registrar at University of Southern Indiana. The Evansville resident previously worked as an adjunct instructor at Ivy Tech State College and at Vincennes University. She holds a B.S. in education from Kennesaw State University.

Christina M. Clark, Evansville, has accepted the position of area coordinator in Residence Life at University of Southern Indiana. A former resident of Tempe, Ariz., she graduated summa cum laude in 2003 with a B.A. in communication from Arizona State University, where she worked as a behavior education intern, classroom apprentice, and resident assistant. She also holds an A.A. from Estrella Mountain Community College in Arizona.

Sally Kleinknecht ’02 ’03 has accepted the position of instructor in mathematics at University of Southern Indiana. The Evansville resident previously worked as a high school math instructor at Black Forest Academy in Germany and as an adjunct math instructor at USI, where she earned a B.S. in math and a master’s in education through the Transition to Teaching Program. She also holds a B.S. in Physical Therapy from University of Michigan and was named Outstanding Graduate Student in Education in 2003.

Dr. Shadow Jason Quinn Robinson, Evansville, has accepted the position of assistant professor of physics at University of Southern Indiana. The former resident of Lexington, Ky., previously worked as a visiting assistant professor at Eastern Kentucky University and as an instructor at Lexington Community College. He holds a B.S. in mathematics and a B.S. in physics, both from University of Kentucky, and earned a Ph.D. in physics from Rutgers University in 2002. A member of the American Physical Society, he also holds membership in Phi Beta Kappa, Sigma Pi Sigma, and Golden Key National Honor Society.

Lee Ann Shafer has accepted the position of academic programs advisor in Extended Services at University of Southern Indiana. The Evansville resident previously worked at Oakland City University as a curriculum coordinator, adjunct instructor, and portfolio counselor. She holds a B.A. and an M.S. in education from Indiana University.

Rita Winters ’98, ’02 has accepted the position of instructor of nursing at University of Southern Indiana. The Evansville resident previously worked at St. Mary’s Medical Center as a nursing supervisor, assistant nurse manager in ICU, and RN-staff nurse in ICU. She holds an M.S.N. and B.S.N. in nursing, both from USI, and an associate degree in nursing from University of Evansville. She received board certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in 2002. A member of the American Nurses Association and Indiana State Nurses Association, she also holds membership in Sigma Theta Tau and Golden Key National Honor Society.

Scott K. Wood, Evansville, has accepted the position of program coordinator in Recreation, Fitness, and Wellness. A native of West Lafayette, Ind., he earned a B.S. at Valparaiso University in 2001 and an M.S. from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2003.
