USI welcomes new faculty

Dr. Terry R. Dean, Evansville, has accepted the position of assistant professor of dental assisting at University of Southern Indiana. Formerly a resident of Henderson, Ky., he previously worked as dean of faculty at Trinity Theological Seminary in Newburgh, Ind. His resume includes 10 years of private practice and six years of teaching and administrative work, which included serving as program director for dental hygiene at Henderson Community College. He holds a D.M.D. from University of Louisville School of Dentistry and a B.S. in biology from Western Kentucky University. Dean also completed a post-doctoral general practice residency at University of Louisville Humana Hospital and is a member of the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, and Green River Dental Society. Linda D. Ellenstein has accepted the position of instructor in communications at University of Southern Indiana. The Evansville resident previously worked as an adjunct instructor at USI and Ivy Tech State College. She holds an M.A.T. from Indiana University. Dr. Anusuya Roy, Evansville, has accepted the position of assistant professor of economics at University of Southern Indiana. Formerly of Albany, N.Y., she previously worked as a lecturer at State University of New York-Albany, where she earned a Ph.D. in 2003 and an M.A. in 2001. She also holds a B.A. from Jadavpur University in India. |
