USI panel considering race-based affirmative action

Dr. Stephen Sullivan, USI associate professor of philosophy, will moderate the panel discussion, “Race-based Affirmative Action in Higher Education,” at 7:30 p.m. November 13 in Kleymeyer Hall in the Liberal Arts Center on the University of Southern Indiana campus. Panelists will include Dr. Gary Stiler, USI professor of education; Amy Stockholm, president of the USI College Democrats; Suzana Rodriguez, president of the USI Hispanic Student Union; Sean Selby, president of the USI College Republicans; Dr. Sid Hall, USI professor of psychology; Dr. Howard Gabennesch, USI professor of sociology; and a representative of the USI Black Student Union or Multicultural Center. The program is free and open to the public. It is being presented in conjunction with the course, LIBA 497.002-003 Racism in America. |
