Assessment Day
|
USI students who are first-time, full-time freshmen, juniors who started their college career at USI, and seniors majoring in select programs will participate in testing during Assessment Day on Tuesday, November 11, 2003 at the University of Southern Indiana. The Office of Institutional Research is organizing the day’s activities. USI faculty will conduct the testing. Testing will take place in the Health Professions Center, Science Center, Education Center, Orr Center, and Liberal Arts Center. Three testing sessions will be offered at 8:30 a.m., 1 p.m., and 6 p.m. Students will be notified by mail and/or through e-mail (usieagles.org) as to the time and place of a testing session. Students are required to participate in Assessment Day. More information about Assessment Day is available online at http://www.usi.edu/depart/instires/assessmentday.asp. Classes at the University are not scheduled for Assessment Day. Mr. Edwin Ramos, director of Institutional Research, said, “Results from the testing show students’ academic growth. Historically it shows how students compare over the years and it helps identify trends as students progress through college.” |
