Comic to entertain returning students
|
Buzz Sutherland, a Campus Entertainment award winner in comedy, will be at the University of Southern Indiana at 8 p.m. on Sunday, January 11 in Carter Hall of the University Center. All students are welcome to this free event ushering in the spring semester which starts on January 12. Sutherland is an expert in his comic craft. His brand of comedy is contagious and his audiences leave performances with sore ribs from laughing so hard according to students who have seen his act. The St. Louis Post Dispatch has described Southerland’s show as 98 percent clean and 100 percent funny. He has earned the 2000 Comedian and Entertainer of the Year award from the Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities and the 2001 Comedian of the Year award from Campus Activities Today magazine. Sutherland is the original creator of the “DuckJob” sound clip that has been passed and posted around the globe in e-mails, Web sites, and forums. The USI event is free for USI students. The program is sponsored by Student Development Programs. |
