THREADS ending year with reception

The University of Southern Indiana THREADS Committee will host a THREADS End-of-the-Year Reception from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, on the University Center Mall. The reception, in conjunction with USI’s Diversity Celebration Month, will include an appreciation ceremony for individuals, organizations, departments, and offices that have sponsored diversity events this year. The event also will feature recitation of “An Ally’s Promise” by Anthony D’Angelo, a cricket demonstration by the USI Cricket Club, music, and free pizza and sodas while supplies last. The reception is free and open to the public. The schedule of remaining Diversity Celebration Month events includes: · April 21: Cricket Night - 7:30 p.m., Governors Hall. · April 22: Dialogue on Race – 12:30 p.m., Mitchell Auditorium, Health Professions Center. · April 24: RISC Showcase Speaker Nile Rodgers – 8:30 a.m., Mitchell Auditorium, Health Professions Center. · April 28: International Friendship Night (Jewelry Making) – 7:30 p.m., Governors Hall. |
