Holland student earns scholarship to USI

Kristen D. Partenheimer of Holland, Indiana, is the recipient of the University of Southern Indiana 2004 Dubois County Alumni Scholarship. Partenheimer is a graduate of Southridge High School. While in high school she was a member of the National Honor Society, a senior leader in the band that placed fourth in state competition, and a pianist. She also was a member of the solo and ensemble group, choir, SADD, Bible Study, German club, and a participant in school musicals. Her volunteer activities include teacher’s assistant for Kids in Christ, officer in the church youth group, and a vacation bible school teacher. At USI she plans to study nursing to become a pediatric nurse. She is the daughter of Doug and Kathy Partenheimer of Holland. The Dubois County Alumni Scholarship is given to a high school student who plans to enroll in 12 or more hours at USI, who has a 3.0 or better grade point average, and who is a resident of Dubois County. |
