Half-day tour options in New Harmony

Visitors to New Harmony have the option of purchasing half-day tickets to tour selected New Harmony historic sites. Morning tours begin at 10 a.m. and cover the Harmonist period. The Lenz House, West Street Cabins, Community House No. 2, Salomon Wolf House, and Victorian Doctor’s Office are on the morning tour which concludes at 12:30 p.m. Afternoon tours cover sites of the Owen period and include Fauntleroy House, 1830 Owen House, Maximilian-Bodmer Collection, Keppler House, and Thrall’s Opera House. The afternoon tours run from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Half-day tickets are $6 and are available at the Atheneum/Visitors Center, open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. All tours are self-guided. Regular two-day tour tickets are $10 for adults, with discounts for senior citizens and AAA members. Tickets for student 7 to 17 are $5 per person. |
