Admission counselors to host reception in Owensboro February 16

Admission counselors will host a reception for high school students, their parents, and others interested in attending University of Southern Indiana at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at the River Park Center, 101 Daviess St., Owensboro, Kentucky. The reception will include presentations on the admission process, academic programs, financial aid programs, housing, USI scholarship options for Kentucky residents of Daviess, Union, Henderson, or Hancock counties, and a media presentation of campus facilities. USI students, including Apollo High School teachers Rachel Rosalles and Becky Mann, both USI graduates, and Druanne Greenwell, a graduate of Kentucky's Union County High School, will answer students' questions about college life. University of Southern Indiana is a public university located in Evansville, Indiana. A liberal arts and science curriculum serves as the foundation of knowledge for USI programs and complements undergraduate programs leading to careers in business, engineering technology, government, health professions, education, and related fields. Over 10,050 students are enrolled in USI programs this year. The information night reception is free and reservations can be made by calling the USI Office of Admission at 800/467-1965. |
