Student Government election

The USI Student Government Association will hold election on three days in March to determine officers for next year. Two candidates for president are on the ballot. Jennifer Greenwell, a junior marketing major from Mt. Vernon, and Scott M. Carr, a sophomore political science major from Noblesville, are competing for president. Aphrodite Hudson, Evansville, is running unopposed for AVP Business and Finance. Hudson is a freshman. Samuel C. Bowles, Marengo, is running unopposed for AVP Academic Affairs. Bowles is a freshman; English teaching major. Matt Burchell, Haubstadt, is running unopposed for AVP Social and Cultural Issues. He is a freshman psychology major. Two candidates are running for AVP Student Affairs and Activities. They are Cassandra Kern, Dale, and Anthony Will, Evansville. Kern is a junior and Will is a freshman. Cynthia Joyce-Jones, Evansville, is running unopposed as a member at large for commuter students. She is a junior. Courtney L. Fife, Evansville, is running unopposed as business representative and Lauren Fultz, Seymour, is running unopposed for science and engineering. The elections will be held on March 28, 29, and 30. Students can vote online through MyUSI or in person at the information desk in the University Center (near the Multicultural Center) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on all three days. |
