Greek Week 2005

Greek Week 2005 will be held at the University of Southern Indiana from Monday, April 4 to Sunday, April 10. Greek Week activities build unity among the Greek community so the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood can be strengthened. Greek Week offers a week of competitive, philanthropic, and social events planned by student leaders. For USI fraternity and sorority members, it is a week to celebrate being Greek and showing chapter pride. The activities planned will serve the community, build friendships, and offer a good time. Ashley Andrews of Delta Zeta and Heath Ruder of Lambda Chi Alpha are co-chairs of Greek Week. Greek Week Schedule Monday, April 4 Can Castle Food Drive Non-perishable food cans can be delivered from 3 to 5 p.m. to Carter Hall in the University Center. Castles will be built from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Can castles will be judged on size and originality. Food will benefit local food bank. Tuesday, April 5 Bowling at Franklin Lanes, 9 to 11 p.m. Wednesday, April 6 Dance competition in Forum I, 9 to 11 p.m. Thursday, April 7 Volleyball at O’Daniel South, 9 p.m. Friday, April 8 Interfraternity Council (IFC) and Panhellenic will participate in Relay for Life Saturday, April 9 Greek Olympics starting at noon, playing fields Sunday, April 10 Greek awards, Mitchell Auditorium, 5 p.m. |
