"Living with Grief: Ethical Dilemmas at the End of Life"

USI and Visiting Nurse Association Hospice will host a teleconference, Living with Grief: Ethical Dilemmas at the End of Life, from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, in Carter Hall in the University Center. The teleconference, produced by the Hospice Foundation of America, will be moderated by Cokie Roberts, ABC News political commentator and NPR senior news analyst. The featured panelists are Kenneth J. Doka, Bruce Jennings, Charles Corr, Richard Fife, Jack Gordon, Bernice Harper, William Lapers Jr., Richard Pane, and JoAnne Reifsnyder. Following the teleconference, there will be a panel discussion from 3 to 3:30 p.m. including Kathy Elpers, associate professor of social work, Charles Petranek, professor of sociology, Gale Hoehn, instructor in nursing, and Sister Jennifer Miller, a spiritual care counselor with VNA Hospice.
