Rockabilly and western swing at Lincoln Amphitheatre
|
Blair Carman and the Belleview Boys and Slick Andrews and the Crooked River Playboys will perform piano-pumping rockabilly, “hillbilly boogie,” and western swing at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 15 as part of the Live at Lincoln Amphitheatre concert series. Blair Carman and the Belleview Boys have the look and sound of 1950s rock and roll. Carman has been called “the best thing that’s happened to rockabilly piano playing since Jerry Lee Lewis.” There’s going to be a whole lot of shakin’ going on at Lincoln Amphitheatre when they hit the stage! Slick Andrews and the Crooked River Playboys will take you back to the early honky-tonk era and the likes of Hank Williams and the Drifting Cowboys. Don't miss this chance to hear one of the best show bands around. Tickets are $20. For tickets, call the Lincoln Amphitheatre box office at 800/264-4ABE (4223) or go to www.usi.edu/lincoln/. Lincoln State Park is located in Lincoln City, Indiana. The Live at Lincoln Amphitheatre concert series is produced by the University of Southern Indiana. |
