Americans with Disabilities Act Audio Conference: The ADA 15 Years Later

ADA-Indiana will offer a three-part audio conference series on progress in the 15 years since the Americans with Disabilities Act was enacted beginning Tuesday, July 19 at the University of Southern Indiana. The ADA Audio Conference schedule is as follows: • “ADA Update: 15 Years Later,” 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 19. • “Just Hop Up! Access to Medical Equipment – Where Are We?” 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 16. • “Readily Achievable Barrier Removal: What Does it Mean 15 Years Later?” 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 20. The sessions will be of special interest to human resource personnel, business and government employers, people with disabilities, and other community members. All sessions will take place in Room 1212 in the Science Center at USI. A certificate of completion from the Great Lakes ADA and Accessible IT Center will be available for individuals who attend the audio conference.
