Jeffersonville resident Patrick Hoehn is chair of USI Board of Trustees

G. Patrick Hoehn of Jeffersonville, Indiana, has been elected chair of the Board of Trustees for the University of Southern Indiana. Hoehn is president of Cornerstone Group, a real estate development business. A member of the board since 1998, Hoehn has served as vice chair for the Finance/Audit Committee and Construction Committee. He is a former member of the Indiana Commission for Higher Education. Hoehn succeeds J. David Huber of Cannelton. The elections were held in July of this year. The USI Board of Trustees, a nine-member board appointed by the Governor of Indiana, governs the University. It has the powers and duties common to other public postsecondary institutions in Indiana. University of Southern Indiana is located in Evansville, Indiana. Over 10,000 students attend the comprehensive public university that was established in 1965. Academic programs for graduate and undergraduate students are available in five colleges.
