Nominate students for Who’s Who
|
USI participates in the Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges program. This national program honors outstanding students on campuses all across the country. The USI selection committee, composed of faculty, staff, and students, evaluates each applicant on scholarship ability, participation, leadership in academic and extracurricular activities, citizenship, service to USI, and potential for future achievements. Each applicant must be currently enrolled at USI and must have earned a minimum of 60 credits by the completion of the 2005 summer term. To nominate those students that you believe are deserving of this honor, complete the form online at www.usi.edu/leadership/whoswhonominations.asp. Submit all nominations by October 7, 2005. In October, an application will be sent to the student with a cover letter stating who nominated him or her. Once the student completes the application for himself or herself, the application will be reviewed by the selection committee. The recipients will be recognized at the Student Leadership Awards and Recognition Ceremony on Wednesday, April 19, 2006. All nominators are invited to attend this recognition program. If you have any questions about the process, call the Office of Student Development Programs at 465-7167. |
