University of Southern Indiana welcomes new and transfer students! Here are some frequently asked questions and answers to help you orient yourself on the USI campus: How do I find out who my advisor is? In the department of you current major. Where can I meet someone who can help me? University Division, Education Center Room 1142. How do I change my address? On MyUSI, or at the Office of the Registrar, Orr Center, 464-1762. Where do I get information about my bills? MyUSI or Cashier’s Office, lower level Orr Center, 464-1842. How do I join a fraternity/sorority or find out about clubs and organizations? Student Development Programs, University Center Room 15, 465-7167. What is there to do on campus? Visit the USI Calendar online. Where can I get a University Bulletin? You should receive one at orientation. If not, inquire at Advancement, Wright Administration Building Room 103. The Bulletin also is available online and in the USI Bookstore, 464-1717. Where can I get answers about my class schedule? From your academic advisor; in the Office of the Registrar in the Orr Center, 464-1762; or on MyUSI. How do I get access to MyUSI? Where do I get my email address? Who do I talk to about having a computer in my residence hall room? Computer Center, lower level Orr Center, 465-1080. Where do I get a list of the computer labs on campus? Go to the Computer Center Web site. Who can I speak to if I can’t adjust to University life? Who can I speak to about relationship concerns? Where can I get confidential personal counseling? Who can I speak with if my roommate is having emotional problems and I can’t help him/her? Counseling Center, Orr Center Room 1051, 464-1867. Where can I get information on cultural events and programs on campus? Multicultural Center, University Center Room 113, 465-7188. Where do I seek assistance if I have a disability? Counseling Center, Orr Center Room 1051, 464-1867. How do I find a job on or off campus? Career Services, Orr Center Room 1005, 464-1865. How do I enroll or change my class schedule? With your academic advisor, through MyUSI, or at the Office of the Registrar, Orr Center, 464-1767. How do I apply for a loan/grant? Student Financial Assistance, Orr Center, 464-1767. Where can I eat on campus? SubConnection, Burger King, Pete’s Arena, and The Loft in the University Center, and Café ala Carte in the Education Center. Where can I purchase or change a meal plan? Sodexho Dining Services, University Center Room 019, 464-1859. What are the dining hours? Check the Dining Services Web site. If I’m out of money, where can I get emergency food? Archibald Eagle’s Food Closet, Dean of Students Office, University Center Room 007, 464-1862. Where do I get an Eagle Access (student identification) card? Where do I go if it isn’t working?
