Myers is recipient of USI Alumni Association Leadership Award

Allyssa Brooke Myers of Washington, Indiana, is the recipient of the 2006-07 USI Alumni Association Leadership Award, a $1,000 scholarship for the 2006-07 academic year. A 2006 graduate of Washington High School, Myers will attend USI in the fall, pursuing a degree in exercise science/physical therapy. She is the daughter of J. Kevin and Tammy Myers of Washington. Selection committee members said Myers was chosen because she is a scholar, a leader, and an active community volunteer. The USI Alumni Association Leadership Award recognizes leadership shown by a southwestern Indiana graduating senior. Students from 38 area high schools are eligible to submit applications for the award. |
