Employee Recognition Program to be held during luncheon

The 36th Annual Employee Recognition Program will be held Tuesday, August 15, during the annual summer luncheon for Support Staff. Forty-seven support employees and four retirees will be honored for their years of service to the University. Retirees to be honored at the luncheon are: George Curry, who served 10 years. His last assignment was lead custodial worker for Physical Plant. Ann Hammers, who served 15 years as custodial worker for Physical Plant. Mary Ann McCulloch, who served 16 years. Her last assignment was senior administrative associate in the Academic Affairs. Phyllis Berfanger, who served 18 years. Her last assignment was accounting assistant in the Library Services. Support staff members to be recognized for 20 to 30 years of service include: Jerry Bulger, who has been serving the University for 20 years. His first assignment was Maintenance Mechanic II. He is currently the Maintenance Supervisor for Physical Plant Christine Jines, who has been serving the University for 20 years. She started out as sr. library clerk and is currently senior administration assistant in the Registrar's Office. Joyce Lasher, who has been serving the University for 25 years. She started out as a library clerk and is currently serving as senior payroll assistant for Human Resources. Ruth Cutteridge, who has been serving the University for 25 years as administrative assistant for the Counseling Center. Donna Laymon, who has been serving the University for 30 years. She started out as secretary II for the Physical Plant and is currently the senior administrative assistant for the Physical Plant.
