Welcome Week 2006: August 24-30

Sponsored by the Office of Student Development Programs, Welcome Week is full of activities and events to help new students meet, get adjusted to new surroundings, and set off on the right foot to start an academic career at USI.

Welcome Week starts Thursday, August 24, when most students move into on-campus housing. The events on Friday morning are academic sessions designed to get students ready for classes the following Monday.

All students are expected to attend the academic events and encouraged to attend as many other events as possible to get the most out of Welcome Week.

Social events include a fashion show, pizza party, scavenger hunt, Ultimate Frisbee, movies, concerts, games, comedy, and more.
