Auditions announced for fall play

Auditions for the fall USI play Eleemosynary will be held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, August 31 and Friday, September 1 in the Mallette Studio in the Liberal Arts Center at the University of Southern Indiana. The play, a touching comedy about three generations of remarkable women, is written by Lee Blessing.

The auditions will be for the parts of three women. Women interested in auditioning are welcome, but not required, to prepare a short monologue. Audition material from the play will be provided.

An appointment sheet is on the call board outside the Mallette Studio. Rehearsals begin September 6 and the show will open October 4, 2006.

The play will be directed by Lenny Leibowitz, a new member of the theatre faculty.
