“I Go to USI”
 A campus shuttle bus, from the Metropolitan Evansville Transit System (METS) bus system, is traveling the streets of the University of Southern Indiana wrapped in graphics displaying USI students with the logo “I Go to USI” along the side of the bus. A form of outdoor advertising, the bus wrap depicts larger-than-life photos of current students and recent alumni. The “I Go to USI” students are shown in popular college activities. Kensington Blaylock is rehearsing for a theatre production; Lindsey McGowan, Trinia Mimms, and Cassandra Bowman, Class of 2006, wear caps and gowns for graduation; and Sarah Storvick and Joe Love are reading the student newspaper. Jeff Ausenbaugh is photographed running to catch the bus. Twenty-three students are on the bus wrap. Photos and graphics were created and produced by USI staff. The printing and installation were done by a commercial printing company specializing in wraps. Through the academic year, two METS buses travel the campus carrying students to classes in academic buildings, Rice Library, and the University Center from apartments and residence halls in student housing and back. The campus shuttle stops at Valley Lot, the Physical Activities Center, Orr Center, Health Professions Center, Eagle Express convenience store, McDonald West recreation center, the intersection of Varsity Lane and Clarke Lane, and the intersection of Rankin Lane and University Boulevard. The shuttle route runs every 15 minutes from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. |
