2007 AMIGO applications are due November 10

The Office of Student Development Programs is now accepting applications for the 2007 AMIGOs, a group of highly motivated, involved student leaders who assist with the Orientation and Welcome Week programs. As a part of the application process, students are required to turn in a recommendation form from a faculty or staff member. Qualified applicants for the 2007 AMIGOs also must: • Maintain at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average throughout employment as an AMIGO; • Not be graduating in May 2007; • Be reliable, responsible, friendly, and flexible; • Possess good communication skills; • Enjoy working with people and display a willingness to approach and help others; • Demonstrate a desire to learn about USI, its history, its policies, its people, and its programs. AMIGO applications are available in the Office of Student Development Programs, University Center Room 015, or online at www.usi.edu/sdv. AMIGO Applications are due November 10.
