New employees hired at USI

W. Everett Chesnut has accepted a position as instructor in English in the College of Liberal Arts. Chesnut holds a doctorate degree in philosophy from the University of Oklahoma and was formerly a professor of English at Reedley College. Edward Conrad has accepted a position as instructor in management in the College of Business. He holds a Master in Business Administration degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Conrad was formerly the COO, CIO, and CFO of National Marketing Specialists in Arlington, Texas. Khaled Elkhal has accepted a position as assistant professor of finance in the College of Business. Elkhal holds a doctorate degree in business administration from Louisiana Tech University and was formerly an assistant professor at the University of Texas at Brownsville. Carlton Hastings has accepted a position as instructor in sociology in the college of Liberal Arts. Hastings holds a Master of Arts degree in sociology from Northern Illinois University and was formerly an instructor at Dalton State College. Kimberly Hite has accepted a position as dental assisting program director in the College of Nursing and Health Professions. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene Education degree from USI. Hite was formerly a dental hygienist/assistant at Morton Family Dentistry. Jeremiah John has accepted a position as instructor in political science in the College of Liberal Arts. John holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame where he was formerly a teaching assistant. Uisoon Kwon has accepted a position as instructor in political science in the College of Liberal Arts. Kwon holds a doctorate degree in political science from Western Michigan University where he was formerly a part-time instructor. Russell Lohse has accepted a position as assistant professor of history in the College of Liberal Arts. Lohse holds a doctorate degree in history from the University of Texas at Austin and was formerly a visiting assistant professor at Saint Louis University. C. Bryan Love has accepted a position as instructor in English in the College of Liberal Arts. He holds a doctorate degree from the University of Maryland. Love was formerly an in-house editor at Bruccoli Clark Layman, Incorporated. Marie Palladino has accepted a position as advisor and recruitment coordinator in the College of Nursing and Health Professions. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Evansville. She is a member of American Academy of Professional Coders and Capitol Area Roundtable-Informatics in Nursing Group. She was formerly partner and vice president of information services at Evolutions. Mamunur Rashid has accepted a position as assistant professor of engineering in the Pott College of Science and Engineering. Rashid holds a doctorate degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Utah where he was formerly adjunct faculty. |
