Social Work open house November 30

Recent college graduates, social workers in school settings, and others in a career who are considering a master’s degree program are welcome to an open house scheduled by the Department of Social Work at the University of Southern Indiana on Thursday, November 30. Sessions will be offered at noon and 6 p.m. in Health Professions Center, Rm. 2027. The sessions will be hosted by faculty from the department. Topics to be covered in the open house will be how a master’s degree helps produce professional advanced practice clinical social workers; admission requirements and the application process; the clinical concentration and the optional School Social Work specialization program; attending part-time or full-time; and requirements for international students. The academic program is fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. Questions about the open house can be directed to the USI Social Work Department, 812/464-1843. |
