SGA hosts 10-Year Plan Town Hall Meeting
|
The Student Government Association will hold a Town Hall Meeting on the University’s 10-year plan at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 14 in Carter Hall in the University Center. Students, faculty, and staff who want to know more about USI’s future should plan to attend. The speakers will be Laurie Berry, acting director of Residence Life; Dave Enzler, director of Recreation, Fitness, and Wellness, and Mark Rozewski, vice president of Business Affairs. The SGA holds a Town Hall Meeting each fall. Erin Ennes, SGA chair of the event, said the 10-year plan was chosen as the topic of this year’s meeting because of the level of interest in the subject among students and faculty. “The SGA is the voice of the students. Anyone can be in SGA so it’s a pretty fair representation of the students, and it’s our job to inform the students as well as the faculty about what is going on at USI.” The community is invited to the meeting as well. “People in the Evansville area should know what’s going on with USI because it’s in their community and their kids could have the opportunity to attend school here, too.” Refreshments will be provided.
